ON-DEMAND WEBINAR: The truth about mental health

Featured Image

Mental Illness Awareness Week (October 3-9, 2021) is an important time to shine light on mental health, and to raise awareness about the prevalence and impact mental health has on us all. This is a great opportunity to remind each other that we all struggle sometimes and don’t have to suffer in silence. It’s also a time we can dedicate to ourselves to take better care of our own mental health and the mental health of those we care about.

You never really know what someone is going through and it’s important to recognize that:

Someone can look confident but still have anxiety...
Someone can look happy but feel miserable inside...
Someone can look carefree but have a ruminating mind...
Someone can look healthy but suffer from mental illness.

Conversations are critical to raise awareness about mental health and the many challenges faced internally. Hosted by Michael Landsberg, founder of #SickNotWeak and former host of Off The Record on TSN, this on-demand webinar is available for you to learn about the truth around mental illness, how we detect if someone is struggling, how to approach someone who may need support and what we can all do to be there for each other.
