MindBeacon is a new kind of therapy. When we face the new, it comes with a layer of uncertainty. We share our community's experiences with therapy to help others know if it can be for them too. Have a story to share? E-mail us at community@mindbeacon.

MINDBEACON USER:

I've struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder for many years now. Along with it, I suffer from severe anxiety and depression. I found the MindBeacon program online, just by chance, when searching for more professional help for my problems. I must say that being accepted into this program was a great and good change for me.

The program is extremely well structured, with worksheets and professional literature to read from. It felt difficult at first, but with the support of my excellent therapist, I managed to look deeper into my painful experiences and how they affect my day-to-day life. My therapist guided me gently through each week with professional advice, helping me to understand how to fill out the worksheets and what to learn from them to help me improve my life. Also, the program and my therapist provided me with hands-on techniques that I can practice to reduce my anxiety and to improve my ability to cope with my trauma.

I have to say, this is an absolutely excellent program and extremely helpful for me. I am using what I learned on a daily basis and I would strongly recommend it to anyone struggling with similar problems like me.

If you're struggling, MindBeacon is here to help with a variety of supports available in our Virtual Mental Health Therapy Clinic. If you are part of our Workplace Mental Health Program, please visit your company page for access to services covered by your workplace.
